1. Important Service Terms of the SEO Marketing Consultant
SEO is a High Payoff long term investment strategy but it is very competitive and can also be a time-consuming and lengthy process. Investment should be ongoing and commensurate to achieve and maintain results. SEO results inherently fluctuate along with search engine algorithm updates & competitor content, link building, and authority relationships. SEO cannot control search ranking algorithms and ongoing SEO efforts by competitors. Positions, ranking, impressions, click thru rate and organic visits all experience fluctuations from day to day.
To avoid potentially damaging SEO modifications, consider looping in the SEO marketing consultant on changes related to website renaming, re-locating, adding or removing content, robots.txt, .htaccess file, sitemap, h1’s, inlinks, anchor text, taxonomy, backlinks etc.
a). Changes on features, deliverables, and results can be expected as marketing platforms and techniques are always changing. Best efforts will be made by the SEO Marketing Consultant for equivalence in performance expectations.
b). Dependencies may halt, delay, pause or restrict techniques or planning of marketing services or consultant services. Dependencies might be outlined by The SEO Marketing Consultant or inferred by non-accessability of client business assets pertaining to SEO such as but not limited to; website content management systems, domain controls, email, blog admin or obstructions to posting, analytics platforms for example Google Search Console, Google Analytics or other platforms, Sales copy, experts in the industry domain, social network, etc. The SEO Marketing Consultant is not liable for services promised but not in motion which are dependent upon requested access to a mission critical asset.
c. Billing: Installment & Recurring Invoices are facilitated for client convenience and may require a minimum agreement length (i.e. 6 months for Local SEO or Content SEO services). The default setting for recurring payments will continue unless the SEO Consultant receives a cancelation request 30 days in advance of upcoming services applying after the full duration of any minimum length agreement. Opted into automatic billing and automatic payment will continue with substantially similar services however services may be substituted without notice if they bring near equivalent performance.
2. NonDisclosure Agreement
Client and the SEO Marketing Consultant understand that their business relationship may result in the disclosure to each other of confidential information regarding business practices or partnerships.
Both parties acknowledge and agree that each other’s business depends on the preservation of trade secrets and other confidential information, and the disclosure of confidential information would cause either party irreparable harm. Both parties agree to keep all such information confidential. This information, including but not limited to client names, processes, author names, publishers, websites, employees, techniques, and payment structures, will not be used except for carrying out the agreed service.
Either party may disclose its confidential information to the other in confidence, and both parties agree that such documents and their contents are proprietary and confidential.
Additionally, any information learned by virtue of the services provided (e.g. the identity of an affiliated author due to an article being published) will be considered Confidential Information under this Agreement.
This obligation of confidentiality will remain in effect after the termination of this Agreement. Client agrees not to contact publishers, authors, contributors, columnists, or editors of publications for any reason with regard to completed deliverables, nor identify SEO Marketing Consultant as an associate or affiliate of such deliverables, articles, publications, authors.
